Do you need to be refreshed?  Do you need to connect with God?  Do you need some “you” time?  We have JUST what you need ~ Cannon Church’s 2009 Women’s Retreat.  Our retreat dates are February 27, 28, and March 1, at Camp Pinnacle in Clayton, GA. Our theme this year is “I Hope You Dance”….Finding ways to live a full and complete life while living on this planet.

Our speaker is Reverend Diane Parrish. She was born in Florida, obtained her B.A. at the University of Florida, her Masters of Divinity at Candler School of Theology, and entered Polycarp Ph.D Program in England.  Among her many accomplishments, including orchestrator and vocal arranger for a 1978 Barry Manilow Special, lead background singer and vocal arranger for Tony Orlando (after split from Dawn) – 1978-1981, personal appearances on talk shows, Dinah!, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, Tonight Show, and Midnight Special, and St. Jude Telethon regular for Danny Thomas, 1979-1981.  Perhaps locally she is most known for creating and founding Camp Hope for Kidz, camps for prisoner’s children.  She is a much published author and currently serves at Mt. Bethel in Marietta, Georgia.  She is married to Raymond and they have 2 children, Kimberly and Ross.  Her entire Personal Vitae can be found on Cannon’s website under the Women’s Retreat.
